Monica Garcia made her Watch What Happens Live debut on Tuesday, where she teased the potential reveal of the source behind the rumors regarding Angie Katsanevas‘ husband, Shawn Trujillo.
While also opening up about her ties to the fraud case against Jen Shah, 50, the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star, 39, revealed if she’s spoken to Jen since contacting the Secret Service about her money scheme, spoke of her friendship with Angie, and suggested Lisa Barlow, 48, lives beyond her means.
On the October 17 episode of WWHL, Monica was asked to choose between Lisa and Angie as she was faced with a series of rapid-fire questions.
During the game, Monica said she’s heard more rumors about Lisa, admitted she believes Lisa is a “bigger gossip,” and accused Lisa of flaunting a more luxurious lifestyle than she can afford.
As for which she’d trust with a secret, Monica said, “Neither.”
Then, on the WWHL: After Show, Monica was asked if she felt Lisa was overreacting when she freaked out that Heather Gay, 49, invited Angie over to make nice.
“That was interesting. I think it’s very on par for Lisa,” she answered.
Back on the live broadcast, Monica said she wasn’t sure why her mother, Linda, didn’t side with her on the latest episode of RHOSLC, which featured her at odds with her co-stars as they feuded about the rumors regarding Shawn’s supposed romances with other men.
“You know, that’s just the story of my life. I don’t know. You’d have to ask LD, I guess,” she stated.
Monica was then asked about comments Angie made on WWHL two weeks ago, which suggested Monica may have created the rumors in an effort to hurt her and stay relevant — and noted that the two of them had only met once.
After saying that Angie’s claims were “shocking,” Monica said, “I was actually glad she said it because it kind of proves my point with her. Photos don’t lie and we have plenty more than just one photo together so… We’ve met more than once, for sure.”
Moving on to Jen, Monica admitted the Shah squad is “furious” about her role on RHOSLC.
“They are furious,” she revealed.
According to Monica, she learned of Jen’s fraud scheme from Jen herself during their time working together, which Monica described as “charity work.”
“Honestly, she told me. She told me how her scheme works and she asked me to be a part of it and I said, ‘Absolutely not,’ and that’s when I reached out to my friend in the Secret Service,” Monica shared. “We never actually got to talk after that because then I was a witness in her federal trial and those two can’t mix. So she never had a trial, she never had a trial.”
Even years later, Monica still hasn’t spoken to Jen.
“No. No, and I do want to make it clear, I wasn’t the one that opened a case against her by talking to my friend. That was open for like 10 years,” she clarified.
She then shared a message directly to the incarcerated Jen, saying, “I hope you heal what is very broken inside you.”
Also on WWHL, Monica was questioned about the source of the rumors about Shawn.
“I actually heard that rumor from multiple people over time, friends, certain circles. I’m not gonna go there. I wanna save that for reunion,” she teased.
And when Andy mentioned how Shawn got choked up about the rumors, she added, “I found it odd.”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season four airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
